I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), and Iearned my master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Cincinnati. I have been working in the mental health field for two years, and have experience working primarily with adolescents and adults, specifically during transitional periods in life.

I believe that every individual has unique experiences, and I am dedicated to understanding these diverse qualities that people bring to therapy. My goal in therapy is to encourage clients to explore their strengths and use them more appropriately when faced with barriers or conflict. I view counseling as a joining process, meaning that sessions will be interactive and collaborative.

My approach to therapy is grounded in respect, non-judgment, and unconditional positive regard. My background and professional interests have led me to work with depression, anxiety, LGBTQ concerns, trauma and relationship difficulties. I believe that the mind and body are interconnected, and I therefore work primarily from a cognitive perspective to explore how thoughts, feelings and behaviors interact.
